Feature Details

As an alternative to Export Lattice Model, we can use the Thin Points tool in TerraScan to create gridded points from the original pointcloud where the closest point, based on the grid step, will be kept.

Steps:

1. Load pointcloud
2. In TerraScan, click Tools > Thin Points
3. Enter From class, To class
4. Method: 2D Grid, Keep: Central point
5. Enter desired Grid step
